January Events in Fort Myers

Start your New Year off right after moving to Fort Myers and get involved in all that this exciting town has to offer. To help you start to plan your month, All My Sons Moving & Storage local movers have put together a list of their favorite January events in Fort Myers.

Sanibel Island Jazz Concert – Presented each Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. on Sanibel Island in the Boler Garden at BIG ARTS, this free concert features all styles of jazz music. Don’t forget your beach chair, as seating is limited. BIG ARTS is located at 900 Dunlop Road on Sanibel Island.

Outdoor Family Movie Night – Take a break from unpacking after your move to Fort Myers and bring your family out to Alliance for the Arts on January 22 at 7 p.m., for a free viewing of a family-friendly movie under the stars. Be sure to bring blankets, chairs, snacks, coolers and anything else to make quality time spent with family and friends even more enjoyable. Alliance for the Arts is located at 10091 McGregor Blvd.

Downtown Fort Myers Car Cruise-In – On the 4th Saturday of every month, classic cars roll into Downtown Fort Myers for a classic car show from 4 to 8 p.m. This event is free and open to all ages, and also features music from a local classic rock DJ and trivia games.

River District Farmer’s Market – Enjoy the cooler weather and support local business after moving to Fort Myers and head over to the Farmer’s Market in Centennial Park. The farmer’s market is open every Thursday, year-round, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
